BINGO about the HOUSE to teach English as a Second Language (ESL).

What are we learning?
• Vocabulary related to the house: parts of the house, furniture, objects.
Oral comprehension.

How do we use it?
1. Each student selects one option on each bingo box.
2. Randomly, the teacher takes and reads the different cut-out strips.
3. The first student to cross off all the boxes wins.

To go further…
After playing bingo, students can use their board as a guide to write an essay in which they describe: their house, their ideal house... Another option would be to prepare an oral presentation for their classmates. They do not need to limit themselves to the information given in the boxes, they can explain other aspects of the house. They can also draw it.
