BINGO. Choose your CLOTHES
BINGO about CLOTHES to teach English as a Second Language (ESL).
What are we learning?
• Vocabulary of clothing, accessories and body parts.
• Oral comprehension.
• Students and teacher get to know each other.
How do we use it?
1. Each student selects one option on each bingo box.
2. Randomly, the teacher takes and reads the different cut-out strips.
3. The first student to cross off all the boxes wins.
To go further…
After playing bingo, students can use their board as a guide to write an essay in which they explain, for instance: what clothes and accessories they are wearing, what they would like to wear, what they would wear in different situations (wedding, concert, beach...). Another option would be to prepare an oral presentation for their classmates.
